طرد و حرمان جماعي لعمّال تظاهرة يوم السبت
ذكر مسؤول في شركة أنّ العمّال الذين كان لهم دور في تظاهرة و مواجهات يوم السبت الماضي سوف يتم تسفيرهم و حرمانهم من دخول الدولة. حيث قام قرابة ال4000 عامل من عدة شركات إنشاء كما ذكرت أكثر من وكالة أنباء بتظاهرة ساروا خلالها من جبل علي - دبي إلى شارع الشيخ زايد و قاموا هناك بمواجهة الشرطة و رمي الحجارة على السيارات، فتم إعطاب سيارتين للشرطة. سبب التظاهرة كان و كالعادة تدني الرواتب و سوء الأوضاع المعيشية و العملية للعمّال.
و في مقابلة لرئيس شرطة دبي مع إذاعة البي بي سي البريطانية، أعلن أنّ الشركات هي التي تقرر تسفير العمّال أو إبقائهم، و أنّ دور الشرطة لا يتعدى الحفاظ على الأمن. و في مقابلة أخرى لوكيل وزارة العمل مع صحيفة الإمارات اليوم، ذكر أنّ طلب العمّال بزيادة الرواتب "غير قانوني"، و من يريد البقاء يستطيع بشرط موافقة الشركة، أمّا من أراد المغادرة فستعمل وزارة العمل على ذلك.
In an interview with an official from Dubai police with BBC radio, he announced that the companies are the ones to decide whether to keep the workers or deport them, and that the responsibility of the police does not exceed maintaining security. In another interview with a labour ministry official with Emirates Today, he said that the workers' demands for better pay were "illegal" and that who decides to stay has to abide by the companies' rules and that the ministry will ensure that who wishes to leave does.

Workers Collectively Deported for Saturday Protest
A company representative said that workers involved in last Saturday's protest are to be deported and banned from entering the UAE. Around 4000 workers from several construction companies, reported by several agencies, were involved in a protest from Jebal Ali (Dubai) to Sh. Zayed Road, attacking police and throwing stones on cars. Two police vehicles were vandalized. The protest was against low wages and workers' bad living and working conditions.
